Healthcare Professional Portal – Terms & Conditions (Doctors)
1. Eligibility and Registration
Access to this portal is strictly limited to registered medical practitioners (including General Practitioners and Specialists) holding a current registration with the AHPRA.
By registering, you confirm that:
- You are a registered medical practitioner in Australia
- All information provided (including your AHPRA number and practice details) is accurate and current
- You will promptly update any changes to your registration or professional status
- We reserve the right to verify your registration and to approve or reject access at our sole discretion.
2. Purpose of the Portal
This portal is intended to:
- Provide healthcare professionals with access to compounding information and formulation options
- Facilitate the preparation and submission of prescription requests
- Enable communication with our compounding pharmacists
- All information is provided for clinical reference only and does not replace your independent medical judgement.
3. Prescribing Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for all prescribing decisions
- Any prescription generated, completed, or submitted through this portal is issued under your authority as the treating practitioner
- You must review all prescription details prior to submission
- Nothing within this portal constitutes medical advice or direction to prescribe.
4. Electronic Prescriptions and Signatures
Where the portal enables electronic generation or submission of prescriptions:
- You confirm that any electronic submission or “electronically signed” prescription represents your valid authorisation
- You must ensure compliance with all applicable Commonwealth and State/Territory prescribing laws
- You may be required to retain records or provide original documentation upon request
- We reserve the right to request a signed hard copy where required.
5. Patient Information and Consent
By submitting any patient information, you confirm that:
- You have obtained the patient’s informed consent to share their details with our pharmacy
- All patient information provided is accurate and relevant to the prescription
- You comply with applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988
- We will handle all patient data in accordance with our privacy obligations.
6. Compounded Medicines
You acknowledge that:
- Compounded medicines are prepared in accordance with applicable guidance from the Therapeutic Goods Administration
- Compounded products are not evaluated as finished products by the TGA
- You are responsible for assessing clinical appropriateness, risks, and benefits for each patient
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your login credentials with any third party
- Allow unauthorised access to the portal
- Use the portal for unlawful, misleading, or inappropriate purposes
- Submit incomplete, false, or misleading prescription information
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- We accept no liability for clinical decisions made by practitioners
- We are not responsible for errors in information entered by users
- The portal is provided “as is” without guarantee of uninterrupted availability
9. Intellectual Property
All content within the portal, including formulations, resources, and materials, remains the property of the pharmacy and must not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without permission.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the portal constitutes acceptance of any changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the relevant State or Territory in which the pharmacy operates.
