1. Overview

CarePlus provides shipping of compounded medications across Australia using trusted domestic courier services, including Australia Post and other registered delivery partners.

All medications are compounded individually upon receipt of a valid prescription and are shipped in accordance with applicable pharmacy regulations and safety standards.

2. Processing Time

  • Compounding and dispensing typically occur within 1–3 business days after receiving a valid prescription and payment confirmation.
  • Complex or specialised compounds may require additional time.
  • Orders are only processed on business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).

3. Shipping Methods

We use reputable domestic freight providers, including:

  • Australia Post (Standard & Express)
  • Other courier partners as required

Shipping method selection may depend on:

  • Delivery location
  • Medication type (e.g. temperature-sensitive items)
  • Urgency of the order

4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):

  • Standard Shipping: 2–6 business days
  • Express Shipping: 1–3 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on location, courier delays, or external factors beyond our control.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and depend on:

  • Delivery location
  • Parcel size and weight
  • Selected shipping method

We reserve the right to adjust shipping methods if required for safety or compliance reasons.

6. Temperature-Sensitive Medications

Certain compounded medications require controlled temperature during transit.

  • These items may be shipped using specialised packaging (e.g. insulated packaging, ice packs)
  • Delivery may be limited to Express services only
  • Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the package promptly

We are not responsible for deterioration due to delayed collection after delivery.

7. Delivery Address & Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details
  • We are not liable for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Once marked as delivered by the courier, responsibility transfers to the customer

8. Authority to Leave (ATL)

If you authorise the courier to leave the package unattended:

  • You accept full responsibility for the order once delivered
  • This is not recommended for medications, especially temperature-sensitive items

9. Delays and Lost Parcels

While we aim to meet all delivery estimates:

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or external events
  • If a parcel is lost, we will investigate with the courier provider

Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.

10. Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged:

· Contact us within 24–48 hours of delivery

· Provide photos and details of the damage

We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement or resolution where appropriate.

11. Restricted Deliveries

We may decline or restrict shipping to certain locations if:

  • Delivery conditions are unsuitable for medication safety
  • Regulatory requirements prevent shipment
