This website is published by CarePlus Compounding Pharmacy as general information about our compounding services and the products we stock. It describes what compounding is, the kinds of formulations we prepare and how to send us a prescription.

Nothing on this website is a consultation, a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and it is not tailored to any individual. It is not a substitute for advice from your own doctor, pharmacist or veterinarian, who knows your circumstances and can take your full history into account.

Reading this website, sending us a script request, subscribing to our updates or contacting us with a question does not by itself create a practitioner and patient relationship.

That relationship begins when we accept a valid prescription for you from a registered health practitioner and agree to prepare it. Until then, please continue to rely on the practitioner who is already treating you.

Do not use this website, our contact form or email if you need urgent help. We are not a monitored emergency service and we cannot respond to urgent messages outside pharmacy hours.

This website shows reviews and comments from customers, and describes situations where compounding has been helpful. These are individual experiences shared by the people who wrote them. They are not a promise or a prediction of what will happen for anyone else.

How a person responds to any preparation depends on their own health, their prescription and how the preparation is used, so outcomes differ from person to person.

The skincare and over the counter products in our shop are consumer products rather than prescription medicines. Product descriptions, ingredient lists and directions come from the manufacturer, and we present them as supplied.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Patch test a new skincare product before applying it more widely, stop using it if your skin reacts, and speak to a pharmacist before you start if you have known sensitivities, a skin condition under treatment, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Descriptions of a product are not a recommendation that it is suitable for you.

Some sections of this website are written for doctors, veterinarians and pharmacists. That material is general professional information about what we are able to prepare and how to work with us.

It is not clinical direction for any individual patient, and it does not replace a practitioner’s own judgement, their professional obligations, or the product and prescribing information they rely on.
