Refund Policy
CarePlus Compounding Pharmacy

1. Overview
At CarePlus Compounding Pharmacy, all compounded medications are prepared specifically for each individual patient based on a valid prescription. Due to the personalised nature of these products, strict return and refund conditions apply.
2. Change of Mind
We do not provide refunds, returns, or exchanges for compounded medications if you change your mind.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Deciding you no longer need the medication
- Ordering the incorrect product or strength
- Change in personal preference after the medication has been prepared or supplied
Once a compounded medication has been dispensed, it cannot be returned or reused for safety and regulatory reasons.
3. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or correction if the product:
- Is faulty or defective
- Is not of acceptable quality
- Is not fit for its intended purpose
- Does not match the prescription or agreed specifications
4. Incorrect or Defective Medications
If you believe there is an issue with your medication, you must:
- Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the product
- Provide details of the issue (including photos if applicable)
- Retain the medication for assessment if requested
Where an error or defect is confirmed, we will, at our discretion:
- Replace the medication at no cost, or
- Provide a refund
5. Prescription Changes or Cancellations
If a prescription is changed or cancelled:
- Before compounding has commenced: a full refund may be provided
- After compounding has commenced or completed: no refund will be issued
6. Delivery Issues
If your order is lost or damaged in transit:
- Contact us as soon as possible
- We will investigate with the delivery provider
Where appropriate, we may offer a replacement or refund.
7. Non-Returnable Items
For safety and regulatory reasons, the following cannot be returned:
- Compounded medications
- Opened or used products
- Temperature-sensitive items
- Custom-made preparations
