Healthcare Professional Portal – Terms & Conditions (Pharmacists)
1. Eligibility and Registration
Access to this portal is restricted to registered pharmacists holding a current registration with the AHPRA.
By registering, you confirm that:
- You are a registered pharmacist in Australia
- All information provided (including registration and pharmacy details) is accurate and current
- You will update any changes to your professional status promptly
- We reserve the right to verify registration details and approve or decline access at our discretion.
2. Purpose of the Portal
This portal is designed to:
- Facilitate the submission of prescriptions for compounding
- Enable communication between pharmacists and our compounding team
- Support continuity of care for patients requiring compounded medicines
- The portal does not replace professional judgement or legal responsibilities.
3. Prescription Submission Responsibilities
By using this portal, you acknowledge and agree that:
- All prescriptions submitted are valid, lawful, and issued by an authorised prescriber
- You are responsible for verifying the authenticity and completeness of prescriptions prior to submission
- You will ensure that all required legal elements of a prescription are present
- We reserve the right to reject any prescription that does not meet regulatory or professional requirements.
4. Patient Information and Consent
When submitting patient details, you confirm that:
- You have obtained the patient’s informed consent to share their information with our pharmacy
- All patient details provided (including full name, address, and mobile number) are accurate and complete
- You comply with applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988
- We will handle all patient information in accordance with our privacy obligations.
5. Uploading Prescriptions
You agree that:
- All uploaded prescriptions are clear, legible, and unaltered copies of the original
- You will retain the original prescription in accordance with legal requirements
- You will provide the original prescription if requested
- We may request resubmission if documentation is unclear or incomplete.
6. Compounded Medicines
You acknowledge that:
- Compounded medicines are prepared in accordance with guidance from the Therapeutic Goods Administration
- Compounded products are not assessed by the TGA as finished medicines
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share login credentials or allow unauthorised access
- Submit false, misleading, or incomplete information
- Use the portal for unlawful or inappropriate purposes
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access in cases of misuse.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for errors in submitted prescriptions or patient information
- We do not accept liability for decisions made by pharmacists or prescribers
- The portal is provided “as is” without guarantee of uninterrupted access
9. Intellectual Property
All content within the portal remains the property of the pharmacy and must not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior consent.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the portal constitutes acceptance of any updates.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the relevant State or Territory in which the pharmacy operates.

13. Partner Pharmacy Collection Role (If Applicable)
Where a registered pharmacy elects to act as a collection (pickup) point for compounded medicines, the following additional terms apply:
- Role of Partner Pharmacy
- The Partner Pharmacy agrees to:
- Act solely as a collection point for patients
- Receive and store compounded medications under appropriate conditions
- Notify patients when orders are ready for collection (if applicable)
- Hand medications to the correct patient upon collection
- Responsibilities of the Compounding Pharmacy
- The Compounding Pharmacy will:
- Receive and validate all prescriptions
- Conduct full clinical and therapeutic review
- Prepare and dispense all compounded medications
- Provide all patient counselling and clinical advice
- Handle all patient communication related to therapy
- Process and collect all payments directly from the patient
- Maintain all legal and clinical records
- Limitations
- The Partner Pharmacy must not:
- Provide clinical advice regarding compounded medications
- Alter, re-label, or interfere with any dispensed product
- Handle or process prescriptions
- Charge patients for compounded medications unless agreed in writing
- Represent the medication as dispensed by their pharmacy
- Liability
- The Compounding Pharmacy retains full responsibility for clinical, dispensing, and compounding activities
- The Partner Pharmacy is responsible only for safe storage and correct handover to the patient
- Acceptance
- By opting into this role and/or ticking the relevant checkbox during registration, the pharmacy agrees to these conditions. A copy of this agreement will be provided upon approval.
14. Digital Acceptance and Consent
By registering on this portal and ticking the acceptance checkbox, you:
- Confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
- Agree to be legally bound by them
- Acknowledge that your electronic acceptance constitutes a valid and binding agreement
- Where applicable, by selecting to act as a Partner Pharmacy collection point, you specifically agree to the obligations outlined in Section 13.
- A copy of these Terms & Conditions will be provided to you electronically upon approval of your registration.
15. Regulatory Compliance (NSW Specific)
In addition to national requirements, pharmacies operating within New South Wales must comply with all applicable legislation and professional standards, including those governed by the NSW Pharmacy Council.
By using this portal, you acknowledge that:
- You will comply with all applicable State and Commonwealth laws relating to the handling and supply of medicines
- The Partner Pharmacy role is limited to supply/collection only and does not constitute dispensing by the Partner Pharmacy
- All dispensing activities remain the responsibility of the Compounding Pharmacy
